my random thoughts on The alt country singer Ryan Adams

My thoughts on Ryan Adams music: I think that everyone with ears should at least listen to one Ryan Adam CD. Ryan Adam has a song for every mood a person could go through. Also he has just about every genre of music covered in his 10 CDs.

Adams music is considered to be alternative country, even though he has two rock CDs as well as a side project with Black Flag's Henry Rollins. Feeding in to his country image is his CD Jackson City Lights, which is a very country Album. His Alternative roots come out in albums like 29 and Love Is Hell.

Even though Ryan Adams hasn't quite found his place on MTV or VH1's Top charts he still has the potential to be the next Bob Dylan or Van Morrison.

Book Report

I wrote my book report on Mitch Albom's book The Five People You Meet In Heaven. This book was a number one on the New York Times Bestseller list. This book is about Eddie a war veteran experience in the after life and who he meets. Through this Eddie finds out that all he has done in his life has had meaning no matter what he felt like before he died.

The first of the five people Eddie meets in Heaven is the Blue Man. Through some conversation with the Blue Man, Eddie finds out that the Blue Man narrowly misses running over him as a child. With out the actions of the blue man Eddie would not have lived to the age of eighty three. Eddie also finds out that through the action the blue Man took he ended up dieing to save Eddie's life.

The second person that Eddie meets is his captain in the Army while he was in war. While talking to his captain, who he spent time as a prisoner of war with, he finds out how much he meant to him. Even though he thought he didn't mean that much to people seeing his captain again allowed him to realize that he may have been mistaken.

The third person he meets in heaven is an older woman. That enlightens him to how his father dies. The older woman knew Eddies father when they shared a room at the hospital. She taught him not to hold and hatred for his farther.

The fourth person that Eddie meets in heaven is his wife Marguerite. She takes Eddie around what she had for a heaven. Her heaven was filled with weddings. She taught him that the lost love that they shared was still love because of the memories.

The Fifth and final person that Eddie meets on his trip through was a young Asian girl. Through talking to her he finds out that he actually killed her while he was in war. This happened when he burned down the place he was held captive. She leads him to what his heaven will be.

Eddies heaven ends up being the park on the pier that he worked on. During his trip through heaven he finds out that even though he hadn't done anything to major he effected a lot of peoples lives. This book helps cope with death and gives hope to those who think their life doesn't matter.

Movie Review Garden State!!!

Garden State is a very good coming of age movie, staring Zach Braff "Scrubs", and Natalie Portman "V for Vendetta". The movie fallows Zach's character through the emotional rollecoster let on by the death of his mother. He meet Natalie Portman and his life is changed he seems to find out that life might not be as depressing as he one thought is was. The movie was great in that the sound track was unbelievably good. The movie showed the ability of Zach Braff as more that a character on scrubs but as a director and writer.
